Windows Explorer Problem

I am experiencing a problem with Windows Explorer were I
will have explorer open and by itself or with other
applications or Internet and Windows Explorer closes and
the desktop icons disappear and the refresh and
reappear. If there are other applications that are open
they stay open. This will occur if I am coping or moving
a file or files within explorer usually. Has anyone
experienced this and if so how did you fix.

yes, i experience the same problem and have posted the

same question on this and many other newsgroups - so far
no one has been able to help with this tiresome bug - i
have considered emailing bill gates direct as no one
within Microsoft can help - if you find a solution I
would be interested to know! Good luck - in the meantime -
keep re-booting - tiresome though it is!
 
I have seen it but not on a regular basis. I assumed it was a combination of
things going on that caused it because it isn't constant.
