Windows Explorer - Folder Options

I'm trying to customize a folder so that it and all subfolders under it will
display files the same way with the same headings.

How do you do this?

I tried "View | Folder Options | View", and then "Apply to Folders", but,
this doesn't seem to do it.

Thanks

There are actually no direct descendents of Abraham. His son Robert had no
children.

'Apply to Folders' now works on a per-template basis. Different defaults
can be saved for 'All Items', 'Documents', 'Pics & Video', 'Music Icons' &
'Music Details'.

Are the subfolders using the same template as the parent folder -- If not,
use the option found on the 'Customize' tab of the Properties dialog of the
parent folder.
