windows error

Everytime I turn off my comp. I get window that pops up along saying
"The instruction 0x7c809783 referenced memory at 0x00d69648 the memory
could not be "written"
click on ok to terminate the program.

Right now, the PC is rebooting itself with no alert after some few
minutes ?!? I'm about to throw this computer away ...

Spontaneous reboots are generally hardware and heat related. Open the case
and see if any of the fans are not working. Also remove the ram sticks and
reseat them.
