windows dreamscene problem

I just downloaded the new extras...which includes new MPG videos my laptop
has the vista capable logo and i have windows ultimate 32 bit! when i try to
use one of those new videos as my background i get this message:
WINDOWS DDREAMSCENE has encountered an error.

The video file format is not supported or there was an error decoding this
video.
I do realize that the other videos that came with dreamscene by default are
wmv videos. I read in this message board that intalling Vista codec pack
4.2.7 would fix the problem I could not find that version all i could find
was install Vista Codec Package 4.3.7 -
It did not solve my problem
please help me!!
I want to play these HD videos as my background!

"Vista Capable" means that it run vista Basic. For Ultimate, you need "Vista
Ready"

should have known it F---ing microsoft i al ready read somewhere that theyre
getting sued for not specifying which vista version a pc can run.
so what do i need to get? buy more ram? or a better graphics card?

Have you done the new update, mine kept coming up with that till I updated
it
