If you are into regular daily manual updates, the latest is 1.19.2728.4
which, by the time you receive this will be out of date - probably ;) Take a
look at the Spyware NG where Donna Buenaventura (MVP) posts on a daily basis
and try the links posted. Alternatively, try COU to keep yourself informed -
same lady.

Replies to my posts are generally unnecessary.

These posts serve one purpose only, to inform those concerned with
information that Microsoft is updating Windows Defender through normal
update channels, that is the pushed version through Defender's check for
updates and Automatic Updates (Windows / Microsoft updates)

It is not concerned with the manual updates at all and replies
concerning the manual updates distract and confuse the issue.

The only replies that are really relevant would be.

1. I have checked for updates 4 times in the past 4 hours and the
definitions don't update.
This could indicate a problem.

2. When I checked for updates I got a different version number than the
one indicated.
This could indicate a problem.

1. Thanks are unnecessary.

2. Rating the post is unnecessary.

3. Posts that Automatic updates has not kicked in yet are unnecessary.
As has been discussed in the group before, each machine will check for
updates at different times. If your machine checks for updates at 1:00
PM it might not check again till the next day. If I post at 2:30 PM
that updates are being pushed it is not only possible but likely that
you will not get updated till the next day. This is not a problem and
does not need to be noted.

These posts started out as, and are still intended to, inform the
posters of the Delta links, Engel and company, that updates are now
available so they may post the links as early as possible for benefit of
those who use them.

They also serve as a reference point for the versions which the average
user will have, the pushed versions.
