Windows Defender Beta2 References

It's rare when a program says it will update an earlier version of it
correctly. I suppose as a "beta tester" though you should test this? I'm
not.

I'm also going to wait for Windows Update to pick up the Beta 2, now called
Defender, which I like more then AntiSpyware.

I'm also going to keep my original Beta 1 until I see that Beta 2 is working
at least as good as Beta 1. I read somewhere here that Beta 2 is missing
some features that were liked in Beta 1. Anyway...

Does anyone know if you will still be able to use Antispyware beta 1 if you
are still using XP sp 1?
Thanks

This is a know issue - as least to me.
Obtain the latest update here;

Unfortunately, Susan - this will not occur - see above URL for download.

MSAS Beta1 is no longer released or supported here.
Your options now are Windows Defender.

I've every intention of continuing to support beta1 users as long as definitions
are available for them, and I've seen no statement about that availability.

Just caught this - wasn't aware the definition files would still be available for
Beta1.
Nothing in the FAQ - Release notes or otherwise that I can find that says
otherwise...

Yeah--I can't tell. I suspect they'll keep issuing for a while at
least--I'm sure there'll be a clear statement at some point.
