Above is the error i keep getting for the last couple of weeks.

I am trying out XPe for the first time. I have read of this MSDN site
looking for answers. I found a lot, but none have worked yet.

I tried my target hardware, but gave up on it and went to a DELL Optiplex
GX50. Loaded with win XP pro on the C: drive and the XPe files on the E:
drive which is the second partition on the Hard disk. "partition(2)" in
boot.ini The E: drive is over 6 gb, thus making the boot partition size in
target settings 5000. The target drive, depending on which advice I have
taken, is either E: or D: , I have settled on D: is more likely the one to
use for target device.

What did I use for the PMQ file?
1st I tried TA with a dos bootable. Advice said a lot of missing devices not
in pmq file.
2nd I tried TAP with windows XP pro. Advice said it would catch the hardware
that WinXP saw.
3rd I tried TAP with the bootable XPE CD1. This showed that the D: drive was
the second partition that I have been using for the XPE boot files.

I made a component out of each PMQ file. Built a XPe system and copied it to
the E: drive of the WinXPpro system. Same error, keeps coming out.

I followed the advice from sjjmicro ( http://www.seanliming.com/Docs/XPE
Stop 0x0000007B Error V1.3.pdf ) which said “If all else fails and to prove
that XPe runs on the system, build an image using … WinLogon Sample Macro
components and don’t include the TA.EXE results. …. Component have the basic
components to build an image that will run on any system.†That did not work
either.

If any body out their can shed some light on this problem of mine, please do.
Specifics would be great. Hopefully I have given enough information to see
what I have been doing.
I am just getting frustrated now. I have poured over the MSDN site searching
for answer.

Thanks
Alan
