ok here i go :)

my sister has recently just got a new computer with windows xp pro editition...

here's my question... a few may know that i am building a new computer soon :) i was wondering if i can use my sisters xp pro disk in it and use the cd key stuck onto her computer

i also have a xp home disk in a box ... the pro is only in a cd wallet, if not i THINK i can just use my original home edition and it's cd key :)

... and this wouldn't be illegal in any way i hope

Just because you own a copy doesn't mean you can use it on 2 PCs ;) If your boxed Home edition CD isn't currently installed on a PC, then you can use that license for your new one.
