"Windows cannot find'C://users/....'. Make sure you typed the name correctly,
and then try again."

I get this message whenever I try to open a document up by double clicking
on the file. After Word has opened, I can double click on the file again and
it opens just fine. Is there anyway to fix this problem?

First see how to re-register Word when problems crop up opening files
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ReRegisterWord.htm and if that doesn't
fix it, select a document in Windows Explorer, right click and choose Open
with...

From the ensuing dialog select Word (winword.exe) and check the box to
always open with this application.

Same problem with a twist

I have the same problem only with a twist. When I click on the file the first time, I get the error message. If I then click on the file a second time, it will load just fine. This leads me to believe that there is no corruption in my Registry or in my Shortcut.
