"Windows cannot access the file gpt.ini for GPO" - Events 1058 and 1030 on XP client only.

I managed to get rid of the problem. My DC's are HP
servers with 2 NICs and the NICs are configured with
different IP's, when i disabled one of the NICs the
problem disappeared.

Resolution worked for me

I have been facing this problem for months and Thanks to this post my resolution was simple. I had DFS on the DC disabled. As soon as I enabled, the problem disappeared. Thanks to all.
