Windows Can not find file

D

Daniel Whitton

Everytime I try to open a file (any type of file) on either of my hard
drives I receive an error message.

Windows can not find the specified file....make sure it is spelled
correctly...

I click OK and then the file opens. I tried renaimg these files, It is not
every file on my machine.Mostly .txt,.html, .mov

So I thought it might be corrupt. So I scanned with Norton and no viruses
were found.

I tried Renaming the Files and Defragmenting my Drive, but to no avail.I
searched MS Knowledge Base for similar threads on this topic, but came up
empty,any help would be great.

Thanks

Dan
