I need to make a CD boot disk that will let me open windows and do a virus
scan to fix a service pack 3 problem prc service issue that is keeping me out
of windows. I tried safe mode in all selections and the windows turns off in
60 sec.
How do I make the disk?

Use either Knoppix from Linux or Bart PE as bootdisk

Note to any experimenters out there:

I just tried the Kaspersky cd...It booted
but failed on GUI initiation.

I'd probably give the Bit Defender one a try
