Windows Backup Scheduled Jobs never start

I've set up Windows backup on my two home PCs, they backup to each other via
the network. I've created jobs and added them to a schedule, however,
neither job ever starts. Any suggestions?

This log file for Scheduled Tasks is stored in the Windows folder, where it
is used to record the activity of scheduled tasks. You can use the log file
to determine why a task might have stopped, or to check on the status of a
task.

Did you assign a password to the account you have the scheduler running
under?

If they backup across a network, does the other side have a matching
user/pwd?
