windows address book to contacts

i imported my windows address book file (wab) from my xp to my vista. the
contacts are all listed on my contacts page. however, the name shows
"firstname lastname.contact". and the birthdays are one day off (i think it
was one day behind the actual bday). however, if i go into the particular
contact, the name and bday is correct. it's just incorrect when on listed.
other than these 2 issues, i don't know if there anything else that is
incorrect since i don't have time to go thru every item.

also, i exported it as a csv file so i can save a copy one excel, but seems
like not all fields are exported.

does anyone know how i can correct this name error, bday error, and able to
export ALL details to excel? thanks!

when you exported as CSV file the option is there to check for all the fields.
if you did not check the fields off before export you will need to go back and do it again. if possible.

so fad as bday being wrong, have no idea. mine all came out ok.
do you have the same DST setup between both computers.
