Windows Activated But No Updates

G

Guest

Just recently I formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows XP Pro. I
had to contact Microsoft by phone to have my Windows validated because
apparently I have done this too many times. So now I no longer get a warning
that I must activate my Windows..... unless I try to use Windows Update.
There, and in Microsoft Update, I am still told that I must validate my
Windows.

Please note that I do not have this problem with Office XP. Can you please
tell me what is the best way to solve this problem?

Thanks!

Activation and Validation are two different things.
