WIndows 64 bit setup

I have put together a new system as follows :
AMD 64x2 4200+ 2.2GHz CPU
EPox EP-MF4 ltra motherboard Bios has SATA enabled but SATA RAID disabled
Memory is 2 pairs of OCZ PC2 6500 ELXTC DDR
Sapphire Radeon X1600 Pro 356 MB Video
Samsung Spinpoint p120S 250 GB SATA2 disk (absolutely blank - as received
from the suppliers. There is NO IDE disk although when present it makews no
difference.)
According to the data sheets it should all work together ansd I have run a
proprietry hardware test pack which verifies the basic hardware including the
SATA drives therefore I am assuming that the basic hardware is OK.
When I try to set up a new boxed copy of Windows XP 64 bit it goes through
the F6 RAID driver install and the automatic system recovery then, when
locading the executive either hangs up or crashes with the message "File
\AMD64\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 4. Setp cannot
continue. Press any key to exit." Attempting a loca of Windows XP home
edition gets a little further but usually hangs somewhere during locaing of
drivers etc.
I am now tearing my hair out because I can't work out what is going wrong.
Nowhere in any documentation on the internet is there any any listing of the
error codes and what they mean.
Please can someone help.

Is youre BIOS set up for SATA,by default the boards are'nt they are set for
IDE drives by default..Also,sometimes a SATA drive simply doesnt get
recognized
when in "raw state" from the factory, download the MS-DOS utility to a floppy,
boot to floppy, format or use the burn-in tests (or similiar),then try
booting to
xp cd useing F6 option...ps.thiers more than one setting for SATA

I have solved the problem. The memory was being run too fast - recognised by
running a standard memory test program. When I reduced the bus speed in the
bios the test passed and XP setup started. It hasn't looked back since
