Windows 2K Server cannot get to external world

Hello,

I have a Win2K server running AD and TermServ. All has been fine until
about two days ago and I am no longer able to get out to the internet from
the Server. I cant ping by IP address or by Domain. When I do an NSLookup
it times out and cant find the server name. All other PC's on the network
work just fine. I can PCAnywhere into the server from a remote location, I
can FTP out from the server but I cant browse through IE or ping by domain
or IP.

I can ping anything internally, ICMP is open on the router. Virus Scan is
up to date and has run a full System Scan.

What the HELL! Thanks for the help.

Run Ipconfig /all on it and compare the results with other computers that
are not having the same problem, particularly for default gateway and dns
servers. See if you can ping the default gateway and dns servers by IP
address. Run the support tool netdiag on it looking for any failed
tests/warnings/errors including the results of the winsock test. Check your
firewall configuration to make sure there are no rules that may be blocking
the IP address of that server. --- Steve
