I just downloaded SP4 for windows 2000 on my pc. Now upon running the service pack and rebooting, my pc continually reboots without bring my windows 2000 operating system back up.

Oh My God! I just posted this same problem and noticed it
too has happened to you. did you ever resolve the issue?
if you figure it out, please let me know. you can email at

brain is so fried and i just cant seem to figure it out.

I've had this problem going on 5 weeks. I posted the
question however never got an answer. Microsoft doesn't
offer a boot or start up disk download so without it you
going to have a difficult time getting to dos to use some
of the dos based diagnostic tool.

I will be watching both of your post for hopefully a quick
and easy solution.

Hi,

I believe you both may have an auto reboot on BSOD checked. To uncheck this
reboot into Safemode. To do this on reboot read the posting screens and one
will ask you to press F8 to give several choices to start your computer.
After booting into Safmode, navigate to
