Windows 2000 TS CAL expiry date

I installed several Windows2000 Terminal Services Client
Access Licenses yesterday. Some of the users with expired
temporary licenses logged on and picked up the CAL's, but
when I check Terminal Server Licensing, they all have
expiry dates besides those new licenses. Is that normal?

This is normal (provided you have SP3 or later installed
on your terminal server). All TSCALs issued after SP3
have an expiration date on them set to roughly 90 days
after their last use. This is to take into account the
fact that it doesn't make sense to license devices that
only connect onto to a terminal server and never again.
