Hi,

all our accountaing files are shared by a Windows 2000 workstation (SP4) but
since it cant allow more than 10 connections at the same time , we need to
upgrade that workstation to Windows 2000 Server.

Should I do an upgrade from directly from Windows , or should I boot with
the SERVER CD , delete the partitions and start all over ?

I dont want to reinstall all the softwares, so if any believe I can do only
an upgrade, I would be very happy.

Tx

As you found out, you cannot upgrade a workstation OS to a server OS. A
clean install is the only way.
