Windows 2000 SP 4 and IE6

after installing service pack 4 for windows 2000 pro i am
having allot of trouble useing internet applications like
Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. the web pages
take forever to load (if they even finish at all) and i
have a broadband connection. can anyone help me with my
problem? i know that allot of other users in different
forums are having similar problems with SP4. i have
already tried to unistall it but it was not listed in my
add/remove programs meneu so then i tried to reinstall it
but to no avail. please sombody help me!!

What antivirus software are you using?

I have the same problem... only figured it out recently...
Using NAV... disabling auto-protect brings my internet access back up to pre
SP-4 speed.

This problem _really_ became a problem with NAV 2004.
