Windows 2000 Setup-Previous upgrade from NT

I have been having some truncating problems on my hard
drive so I reinstalled a fresh install of Win 2k into my
ThinkPad...Unfortunately, I only have the choice of now
using 16 colors. Seems that I can't get Win 2k to give me
256K? Have any idea why this install made the software
revert to 16 colors only and do you know how to resolve
this issue?

Check IBM web site for a display adapter driver for your Thinkpad model.
