Windows 2000 server memory issues??

recently, the server has been running extremely slow. It
takes a long time to access anything on the network,
sometimes just hanging.. Everything runs slow, with no
exceptions. Even loggin on takes a long time. The server
has 640mb RAM. and approx 500mb free on the boot drive.
Would the ram be a problem?? It also has sp4 installed.
Any ideas...???

Try booting the machine into safe mode with networking and see if you can
access things normally there first, if you can, then it might be a third
party application loading that is causing the problem.
