Windows 2000 Server Licensing trouble....

Hi!

Work at a company where they have 3 windows 2000 domains.
The licensing is not working propely anymore.
Almost everyn day there are new "Purshased Licenses".
There is almost 30 000 000 licensens (per server) right
now.
Any idea of what is wrong?

When you go into AD sites/services and expand down to one of your site/s,
you should see a "licensing site settings" object in the righ pane. When
you open this, what server does it list as the License Server and is that
server available? If so then you might try moving that job to another DC to
see if that helps.
If that doesn't do anything let us know what errors you're seeing in the
event logs (202's etc) and was that correct below when it says 30mm server
cals?
thanks

Thank´s for the replay. I will take a look at it saturday
when I will be at the company figure this out.
But, should the license server be the top level domains
dc or it should be one license server for every domain?

Best regards

Niklas
