Windows 2000 Server Backup program

How do you erase an previous backup tape so that it can be
used again. Need detailed instructions as the Help
Instructions do not accomplish the job.

In the backup job you can add a parameter in the command line:

/um this switch overwrites the tape with the job

- This is wrote in the help menu under command line parameters.

You can also in the program, in the restore menu, right click the tape and
select erase.
and then re-use it
