Windows 2000 re-install w/ out losing mirrored data.

Hi. I have a client whose exisiting server (windows 2KAS) was setup by some technical expert - but, provided no license to them. They're a small shop, and don't really need the AS anyway. So, I bought them a licensed copy of W2K Server

Here's my dilemma. They have 5-drives, out of which 4 are mirrored. Primary is partitioned into C and D, and Seconday is Partitioned into E and F - These drives are one pair in the first mirror

The second mirror is similar, but it's not partitioned

Is there any documentation which will guide me through reinstalling the OS, without losing the data? Should I break the mirrors - do the install on the C: drive, and restablish mirroring??? What's the best approach? TIA

There's no supported "upgrade" or "downgrade" path for Windows 2000 Advanced
Server to Windows 2000 Server. You're on the right path for reinstalling
the OS without losing the "data files" however I don't believe you'll be
able to retain your applications, as you'll need to perform a new
installation. Break the mirrors prior to the installation of the OS and
rebuild them afterwards.
