Windows 2000, delete reinstall

I trying to reinstall windows 2000 . That is format c
drive, the drive that is running windows 2000. Loose all
the information and install windows 2000 again. Can you
tell me how to do it?

Boot off of the 2000 CD and when you get up to the "select a partition to
install Windows on" select the partition you want to delete and press "D",
Enter, and "L" to delete the partition. Then select the free space and
press Enter to install Windows there, it will prompt you to format. As
always with re-installs, be sure to have a backup of any important files
