Windows 2000 BSOD on Bootup Driver_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and Memory Dump

Hello everyone, I'm really hoping that someone can help me with this
problem I am having. I'm running Windows 2000 Professional Edition
SP4 with all the updates installed.

The computer was running fine until I decided to use Ghost to backup
the hard drive and when I realized it was going to take some time to
burn everything to CD's, I stopped it and rebooted the PC to try at
another time.

Now, the PC boots into Windows 2000 and I can see the desktop and some
of my startup programs start to load and then, bam....the Blue Screen
Of Death.

This is what the screen says:

*** Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x0012F7E8, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xEB421ED5)

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

*** ADDRESS EB421ED5 BASE AT EB420000, Date Stamp 3c929b54 -
pnp680.sys

Beginning dump of physical memory

How can I fix this problem and get my PC back up and running again?
Thank you so very much.

I would try this, in this order:
1. Reboot in "Last known good configuration" (press F8 during boot)
2. Reboot in Safe Mode, then rename pnp680.sys to pnp680.sy
3. Boot from the Win2000 CD, select "Repair" when prompted, select
"Command Console" when prompted, then rename pnp680.sys to pnp680.sy
