in trying to find the file needed for reinstalling
Mocrosoft Fax, I saw there were three HotFix applications
installed and thoght they were duplicates. I uninstalled
one.;
Upon reentry into windows I received an error message: "An
error occurred calling "Dll register Server" in
C:\winnt\system32\msdtcui.dll (H result=80070005)

Can anyone suggest how to fix
this?
Thank you,

Avi

Probably you need to make "Fax" visible in Add/Remove Programs by
editing SYSOC.INF

See http://www.jsiinc.com Tip # 2274

In your SYSOC.INF file find (or similar to)
[Components]
Fax=faxocm.dll,FaxOcmSetupProc,faxsetup.inf,hide,7

and un-hide it.
Fax=faxocm.dll,FaxOcmSetupProc,faxsetup.inf,,7

The %systeroot%\INF\ directory is ofter +H (hidden).
Backup the file before editing.
