window xp prof CD KEY

Hi,
I am planning to format my hard drive but I cant remember my CD KEY # FOR my
window xp prof OS, Is there any options on how to find out what is my XP CD
KEY #? I was able to manage to copy my Operating XP CD but my problem is I
lost my key number. Is there any options on how to find out what is my XP CD
KEY # On my machine? Thanks a lot for all your help..

Why? Reformatting and reinstalling is usually a mistake.
