Window Mail Stopped working

Veronika

After 2 days of trying to get rid of a virus [File Name: explore.exe Display
Name: applehebi]
and than some told me I had [GRAYBIRD.G virus] I downloaded, installed and
run : CClean, HijackThis, Malwarebytes, Ad-Ware, AVG Anti-Spy (on top of my
resident Norton resident Security), my Window Mail stopped working. I get
the following message:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.y2000.on.ca',
Server: 'mail.y2000.on.ca', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

This set-up worked before and still works on my other computer.
Do I still have some virus?? Did it change something in my Vista??

Well I did installed Windows Live Mail, but I still cannot read my emails!

Unable to send or receive messages for the mail.yyyyyy.ca account. The
connection to the server has failed.

Server: 'mail.yyyyyy.ca'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0E
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 10061

Is something blocking port 110 on my desktop??

Windows Mail has issues with Norton antivirus and several of
the anti-spyware programs you used.
I recommend you upgrade to Windows Live Mail:

There is no server named mail.yyyyyy.ca.
You need to enter the correct server name.

I just removed my server's address in the message. However I got it fixed by
running window's restore. Obviously, I deleted a wrong file while trying to
get rid of my virus.
All is well, for now.
