Hey Guys,

When I turn on my computer or restart, right after my
windows XP Pro -black screen- fades in then the little
slide bar scrolls for about 4 times, then the
Blue: "Welcome" screen comes on and then it stays there.

doesn't get to the login screen, at all.

The first time I waited about 30 minutes and it still
wouldn't boot into windows.

Then I pressed "ctrl-alt-delete", to reboot, but then the
hour glass came and the screen went away and my desktop
appeared.

I then shut down and tried to startup again and realized
that everytime I start my computer and get stuck at that
screen, all I have to do is press: " ctrl-alt-delete" to
by pass that Blue "welcome" screen and go in.....

So what's wrong with my system?

Can this be fixed?

thanks,

max

So do the user names ever show up there, or does it just say "Welcome"
and freeze?
