Win9x joining a W2K AD domain

I have recently installed a W2K SBS into our office, i
have had no problems joining the W2K Pro, WinXP or NT4.0
workstations to the new domain but the Win95 an Win98
machines are giving me real problems.

I have run the Active directory client patch from the W2K
server CD, and have (as i would for a NT4.0 doamin)
joined the domain in the network neighbourhood,
under "client for microsoft networks".

I have no problem seeing, pinging or mapping a drive from
the server but i cannot logon to the domain, When i try
to logon the error message i get is as follows:

"The domain password you supplied is not correct, or
access to your logon server has been denied"

Any suggestion or pointers anyone???

Thanks

Got WINS installed on the server? How many nics in your server? Does an
ipconfig/all from the client show that everything is pointing to your
server-IP?

Hi Dean,

Thank you. Just want to know what wasn't configured right. There is hardly
anything to configure in WINS?
