Win98 printing to Win2K server

Dave

I have printers setup as shared on a Windows 2000 server.
Everything works great on 2000, and XP machines. But
Windows 98 machines on the network see some only 8 of 32
printers. For example I have 3 plotters that are setup
and configured exactly the same, but Windows 98 only sees
1 of them. I tried entering the \\server\printername
manually, but it thinks that the printer is off-line and
will not print to it.

Have you seen anything like this? Any solutions?

If win 2000 can see a printer but not win 95/98,
1) Are there spaces in the share names for the printers? This will work in
NT/W2K, but NOT in 95/98.
2) Are the share names longer than 12 characters?
