I receive the following message when trying to open WinDoctor in Norton Systemworks. Is it due to a problem with my XP Home, or with the Norton Program? I uninstalled and reinstalled Norton. Any help wll be appreciated.

"Norton WinDoctor is unable tol correctly identify the version of this operating system due to another application hooking and modifying the Win32 version functions. Norton WinDoctor will now terminate"

What version of Norton SystemWorks did you install? Only
versions 2002, 2003 and 2004 are compatible with Windows XP.

Are you running an older version of Systemsworks cuz I know they have some
issues with XP! Also, you might want to go to Symantec to see if you can
find a work-around or patch. This is not much but I hope it helps. Good
luck!

Thanks Carey and Ice. I have been to the Symantec page and it wasn't much help.

I am using version 2002. It worked fine until I had to reinstall XP.

By the way, I now have 2 versions of XP. How do I get rid of the old one?
