Win2k + AD + Exchange 5.5 / DNS flakes out

All of the above are running on the same server. Ever
since I got to this company there have been DNS problems
(can't install printer from print wizard, can't find logon
server from VPN client, Can't find web pages on the
internet, etc.). Over the weekend I reconfigured DNS with
the help of someone in the know and we changed the setup
to Dyanamic DNS as well as added forwarders (our ISP's DNS
servers).

This morning I come in and outbound mail is bouncing to
certain domains. Custom recipients in particular are
bouncing with "The recipient name is not recognized" etc.
I changed the Primary DNS server to the ISPs instead of
our DNS server and everything is flowing now. I'm afraid
this is going to cause other problems, however.

Any suggestions?

As long as you point to yourself for DNS and have forwarders you should be
ok. Are you trying to send email to some domain that you have listed in your
forward lookup zones?

netdiag /v would be helpful as well. :)
