Win XPSP2 Hangup

After running a repair on Win XPSP2 a hangup occurs in the boot process at
the window that says "Windows is starting up". It hangs at this point for
1:30 minutes before proceeding and after another 30 sec the system tray
icons appear. Reboot completes after this and all is well. Any help w/b
appreciated.

It sounds like something is set to start up with Windows and is failing
and/or timing out. It could be a legitimate program, Windows service,
or something else. There is no way of knowing from the information
you've provided. Why did you need to do a repair? What kind of repair
did you do?
