Win XP stops responding when connected to internet.

Hi all,

My windows XP stops responding when I connect to the
internet and I am forced to press the restart button and
reboot the machine. This has been happenning only
recently and I have downloaded all updates, but no luck.
I also opened task manager before connecting to the net
and after connecting, it didnt show any unusual activity,
not even 100% CPU usage.... even the HDD light didnt glow
nothing worked not even Ctrl-Alt-delete until about 10
minutes later, when everything that i'd clicked on popped
open. The same thing happens after disconnecting from the
internet.

Hi

How recently did you install the Updates? Did your problem start after installing any particular Update?
