I have a new Athlon 3400 and Asus motherboard and I am moving my old
computer parts to this machine. When I statup windows I get almost to the
loggin screen and then I get the blue screen of death. This is the stop messge
0x000007E( 0X0000005, 0Xf8646750, 0XF89C1430, 0XF89C112c )
I have search google for this and found that 0x000007E -
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
and 0xC0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
A memory access violation occurred.
After furthor searching I find that it is probably a driver problem, which
is exactly what I thought was the problem to begin with, but which one.
The board is brand new how do I now which driver is at fault. If I could find
a log file to explain which driver is at fault it would help. The
Ntbtlog.txt file
logs drivers loaded and not loaded on successful windows statup not on
unsuccessful ones ( which is a lot of help by the way ). Any advise on how
to proceed.
