Win XP SP2 d/l problem

Dear All,

I have a HP Pavilion desktop with Win XP Home and SP1 installed.

Why isn't SP2 available to install now? Is it because I haven't installed
the other HP Patches that go with the SP2 d/l?

Any other ideas?

But I only need to update one computer and it says it's for networks and
such.

Any other Ideas?

I knew you were going to bring that up )

Download it, put it on a CD and have it available for later - it will
come in real handy when you slipstream your XP

Really - I've always had one computer, and always download the network
updates (I have my updates disabled)

Just download and install...

I think I'll probably just update my computer with the hp updates and than
d/l the service pack, as I'll need it by Sept. or Oct. at the latest.

Update:

I downloaded sp2 though windows update after installing another update;
everything is fine now.

Boy it took a loooooooooooong time to install. ROFL
