Win xp error

I have been trying to install Win XP pro. This is just a
re-install of the same OS. AT 13 minutes to complete the
installation, it hangs up and shows a dialogue box, which
says;

"Unregmp2.exe-entry point not found"
The procedure entry point getiums could not be located in
the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL

What shall I do to either continue or undo what has been
installed so far. I have tried restarting many times but
the story is still the same.

Perhaps someone else will come around and complete this.. But ever reference
I see to this error has to do with SQL...

That seems to be a 2K issue. (reference below) How are you trying to install
XP, as an upgrade or clean install?

Hi Tim,

Here are a couple of workarounds that seem to be successful in getting by
the error and completing the install/reinstall:

1) Press Shift +F10 to bring up the Command prompt. Then key in taskmgr.exe
in the DOS window and hit ENTER. The Task Manager should be started. If
not, then try pressing C+Shift+ESC. In the Task Manager window, select the
error messsage window in the application list and click "End Task". In the
process list, terminate the unregmp2.exe program. Exit the DOS prompt window
and resume the installation process.

2) Try holding down the CTRL key and clicking the OK button repeatedly.
