Win XP and Foxpro App

I have a Fox pro application that generated the following
error when I run a batch process. Meaning posted
invoices. The software developer claims it is a windows
issue.

The request to end the selected 16 bit task has timed
out. The Win 16 susbystem may be unstable. Press OK to
terminate the Win 16 Subsystem or cancel to leave it
running.

Any ideas? Basically it crashes the program.

Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,

You'll be interested in reading one of the newest FoxPro books from
Hentzenwerke Publishing: "Painless Legacy Fox Apps on Modern Networks"

I've seen the "16 bit subsystem" problem from time-to-time with my FPW2.6
app running on WinXP Pro, but in general I am able to run it successfully.
