Win Update: Requests 'restart' every 10 minutes?

I downloaded and installed one update this morning.

There is now a popup every ten (10) minutes: "Restart Now" - "Restart
Later"

I will NOT be able to restart for another four (4) to six (6) hours.

I do I turn off this annoying popup?

For future reference: Should I simply turnoff "Windows Update"? I think
it will "bug me to death" if I choose NOT to download a newly found update?

Thanks

You can change the setting in Start, Control Panel, Automatic Updates
to "Notify me but do not automatically download and install". This is less
assertive.

I then select Start, Help and Support, Keep your Windows up-to-date
with Windows Update, Custom.

However, to avoid your "annoying popup" the simplest remedy is to
always reboot after using Windows Update ( and told to do so ) so that
the installation is completed.

won't let me do what you wrote, until--- I restart.
