Win Min Program freezes computer at Shutdown

My computer locks up at shutdown and gives an error
message for "Win Min", telling me program is still
running. Can't find Win Min program anywhere. Anybody
else experience this?

'winmine' is the minesweeper game in windows xp. don't know if this will
help. try reinstalling optional windows components (the games) from the cd.
