Win install problems

Hello everybody,

I would really appreciate if somebody could help me.

I built the system with two SATA HDD (CPU Intel 3,2; MB ASUS P5AD2).

While powering the system for the first time, BIOS showed only one HDD. I
was (and am) not sure whether it was OK but started installing Win MCE.

During installation the setup requested to insert SP1 CD. After that part
was completed it requested SP2 CD. After everything has been installed I
decided to download and install the Windows updates.

20 Win updates were downloaded and installed, which in my humble opinion is
too many for a system with SP2. But what is most surprisingly that when I
decided to check the Win Update one more time, it recommended me to download
and install &SP2. Why?

Finally I opened “My Computer†and there is only one HDD (C:) seen there.
The second SATA HDD is not seen.

Please advise what’s wrong and how to correct. What was done wrong? Thank you!

Sorry for the posting about how to post but it really did not work but all
of a sudden...

You need to go back to the beginning and figure out why only one harddrive
is showing in the BIOS; and that is the responsibility of the motherboard
manufacturer - not this newsgroup.
