Win 2000-Xp-98 network porblem, pls help!

I have three computers connect through a router: Windows XP, 2000 and 98.
Now, XP and 2000 can communicate each other no problem and both can see and
get files on Win98. However, there are 2 problems:
1) Win98 cannot access win2000 (professional),when tried to connect to
win2000, it asks for password, actually, I never set any password on
win2000.
2) Both winxp and win2000 can install a network printer which is on win98,
but cannot print.

I have add netbeui, tcp/ip on all computers but still no help.

What's wrong?

Win2000 and XP have Users accounts. Win95/98/SE/ME do not have true user
accounts.

Create matching accounts on the Win2000 and XP boxes. On the Win98 box
delete all *.pwl files you find. Log off then back on. Enter the same
username and password that you created on the other two boxes.

I don't know. Sharing from Win98 is so insanely easy I don't see any way it
would not work. If the printer was shared from the Win2000 or XP that would
be a different story.

Thank you for the help.
I did as you said and now can open Win 2000, however, if I work on win 98
box and want to copy file on win 2000 to win 98, I will get the error
something like: "Cannot copy [filename]: the pinted network resorce or
device can not be used."

Samething happens when working on win 98 and want to copy or transfer file
from winxp to win 98. However, on win 2000 and xp boxes, the file transfer
works fine.

What I need to do further?
