Win 2000 Won't Load Physical Memory Dump

Have a Dell machine running Windows 2000 that no changes were made on it by
anybody in the office. One morning turned it on and received a blue screen
with physical memory dump that says "Stop: 0x000000S1 (0X0000000C,
0XC000000S, 0XBD192AB4, 0XBD19270C) Registry Error".

Can't restart, power on and off still receive same error. Can choose only
Safe mode command prompt I think. The other options have the same error.
Any recommendations on how to fix if you can't even get it to boot up?

Thanks,

I'm no expert, but sometimes chkdsk /x works. If nothing
else then install another instance of windows on another
folder and open your files from there, but you will have
Windows 2000 installed twice as a dual boot which is kind
of annoying. Norton System Works can probably repair it
if you are inclined to pay for it.

What I would try first is running chkdsk /x from the
command prompt or from the repair console option on your
W2K CD. that's all I can tell you from the information
you have given. Maybe more if you tell me what the last
thing you did before the problem occurred such as opening
or viewing an email or installing/removing a program.
