win 2000 restarting

When shuting down win 2000 Pro it automatically restarts
itself even if set to shutdown. What could be causing this?
 
1. It does blue Scree of Death (crashes) dur to dome driver issue. Check
your event Log for possible errors.
2. Your Motherboard is old and does not support the power off feature.
