Its a long shot, but have you tried connecting via IP?
IE: start--- run-- \\10.10.0.1 (IP of other computer)

printer sharing setup with no issues. My challenge is
connecting my office Win 2000 laptop to my home network
to connect to the printers attached to these two
machines. I have no problems sharing my broadband modem
connected to my DLink router between these three
computers. However when I try to add a remote printer
(which is directly attached to one of my home machines)
onto my office laptop it gives me the message:

logon request."
my office laptop since it can impact my abaility to
connect to my corporate network. Is there anything I can
do on my home network or systems to facilitate sharing
with my office laptop.
