Will Recipe Collection Database for Access 2000 work for 2007?

Can I use the Recipe Collection Database made for Access 2000 in my Access
2007 version?

I see no reason why not.

Access 2007 is comfortable using the Access 2000 file format with no
conversion required.

I couldn't download it with Firefox, so I tried Internet Explorer. That
seemed to work, so I opened the template and now I'm getting this message:

"This error occurs when an event has failed to run because Microsoft Office
Access cannot evaluate the location of the logic for the event. For example,
if the OnOpen property of a form is set to =[Field], this error occurs
because Access expects a macro or event name to run when the event is fired."

Did it install wrong?

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I put it in the folder that currently
contains my recipes in Word format.

Access 2007 requires that the database be in a trusted location in order for
the code to work.

To trust your folder, click:

a.. Office Button (top left)
b.. Access Options (bottom of dialog)
c.. Trust Center (left)
d.. Trust Center Settings (button)
e.. Trusted Locations (left)
f.. Add new location (button)
